We're Almost Two!

Some of you may remember our first birthday bash back in February. Well, now we're halfway to our second birthday and we're still going strong providing new features, uninterrupted service, awesome prizes and cool new stuff to look forward to seemingly every day! Basically, while other sites sprout up and die one after the other, Swagbucks is just getting better.

We provide you with over 200 Search&Win sites from your favorite names in Music, Sports & the world of Entertainment and that number is only going to grow. If you saw our recent post about how much stuff is coming down the pike, you know what I'm talking about. Can you imagine what Swagbucks will look like when we turn 2?

We just wanted to take yet another opportunity to thank all the users out there for coming along for the ride and making us the site we are today. As you've seen, we frequently take user suggestions and implement them and it hasn't failed us yet. :)

If you were around for our 1st birthday, know that in 6 months, our 2nd birthday will put the 1st to shame. We did a Swag Code blowout on our last birthday, so to prep you for the upcoming birthday bash, here's some practice. Enter "" on any Search&Win site for 2 Swag Bucks before 7:30PM PDT. Your Swidget won't mention this code because its still talking about the Special Offers code. So if you miss this one, you can go grab that one.

Lots of cool stuff to look forward to from STILL the #1 Search&Win site on the web!

Happy B'day Swagbucks!!

I have been with you guys since the beginning but today you closed my account with no advance warning. I had no clue that having multiple account is against your terms. I had some unused accounts which I never use and today, I almost lost 720 swagbucks which took me a long time to collect. Me and my roommate use the same computer to log on. Of course she lost her bucks and now I lost mine too. If the policy is one account per household, here we are. We had only one.

Well, it is the birthday, lets make a loyal fan happy :)

cheers!

So, now the SWIDGET that everyone has & relies on for updates/code alerts is going to be ambiguous??!

According to this post, you said, "Your Swidget won't mention this code because its still talking about the Special Offers code. So if you miss this one, you can go grab that one."

Now we have to decifer exactly which of the codes the Swidget is refering to, plus go to your explanation of them in a blog post... Might as well make The Wizard of Oz's Scarecrow pointing in both directions the new Swidget icon. Thought the whole point of the Swidget was a shortcut to direct users to the code and they wouldn't have to consult the blog unless the code was actually there. Three consecutive letters forming an acronym come to mind here...

Uh, this is the only blog post that mentioned suggesting ideas for Swag Bucks, so I decided this was as good a place as any to post this comment. Plus, I know moderators have to approve this before I post it anyways, so you have to see it XP

Anyways, my idea is that users could have a referral link and individual advertising page for their account. They could link to this “advertising page” on social networking sites, blogs, etc. and anyone could click on it to see what Swag Bucks is all about and read an explanation of how it works (I know that the question most people I try to refer ask is "is it a scam?," or they think that it loads a bunch of viruses and cookies onto your computer no matter how much evidence I give them that they are incorrect). The advertising page could be personalized in that you could choose your favorite Swag Bucks sponsor to display their ad on it (for example, if I liked Jars of Clay, it could have the Jars of Clay Swag Bucks ad on the site and say under it "Jars of Clay, one of my favorite bands, sponsors Swag Bucks! You can search the web with their site!" or something). The page could also have the user’s referral link at the bottom of the page so that if people are interested they could join.
The Swag Team could make money from the advertisements on the page and reel in new members, plus members could get a Swag Buck for every five or so visitors with unique IP addresses (because of the money SB staff would receive from the ad) and get more referred users. It’s a win-win situation.

...or I could send it to the big red button that says "Suggest an Idea" on the side of the blog. I am so smart P:
