Its cheaper just to get the $5 gift cards. For $25 in $5 gift cards, it is only 225 swagbucks. For a $25 gift card in a whole is 315 swagbucks. So dont be stupid and waste swagbucks saving up for the $25 or $50 amazon gift cards.

Thanks You So Much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Swag Bucks Is The Best!!!!!!!

gimperdaniel said...

it's much cheaper to buy 5 each time than 25 or 50 at once...

As in most cases, it costs 315 swagbucks to buy a 25$ amazon gift card versus 225 swagbucks(45 x 5) to buy five 5$ giftcard or a total of 25$. A difference of freaking 90swagbucks(315-225). With 90 swagbucks anyone can buy 2 more 5$ giftcards. A simple profit of 10$ like that. WOW!!!!!!!!!! Some things are just weird.

how can i win this gift card in american dollars? :)

Awesome!!

Wait, why does it cost more? That doesn't make sense.

315 SB for a $25 gift Card
315 SB for (7)$5 gift card = $35

Isn't it cheaper to buy the small ones rather then the bigger ones?

Anonymous said...

Such a rip off, do the math 10 $5 gift cards is 450 sb, while one $50 gift card is over 500 sb

Jose said...

Shouldnt the $25 and $50 gift cards be less expensive than buying the $5 dollar ones? The $25 gift card is 315 SB, and if we buy five $5 gift cards to get $25 it is only 225 SB. How does this help us swaggernauts?

Anton said...

Very convenient!

Kevin said...

that makes no sense why they cost that you might as well just get a lot of 5 dollar ones. for instance the 25$ one. 45 times 5 equals a lot less than what it it costs. the should be lower than that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These cards are really not a good deal. It costs 45 swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon gift card. Therefore, it costs 225 swagbucks to buy enough $5 gift cards to equal $25. But it costs 315 swagbucks to get a $25 gift card. Same thing with the $50 one—its 450 swagbucks to buy enough $5 ones to equal $50 but 490 swagbucks to get the $50 one.

awsome i lvie in ca :) thnx tsg

Chris said...

I did the math and they are more expensive swagbucks/dollars than the $5 versions.

Anonymous said...

Simple math makes this not such a good deal. You get more money in gift cards by purchasing them in $5 increments versus the new $25 and $50.

no offense to you oh noble Swag Guy but the gift card worth $25 or $50 cost more money for less cash back but im not saying that its bad. we still love you! (imma guy) ^_^

Man, I LOVE Swagbucks and bigger denominations are awesome for somebody like me with almost 1,000 Swagbucks who wants to redeem them in time for the holidays.

. . .BUT. . .I'll stick to my $5 gift cards - - Because it's cheaper for me to redeem them that way. $25 in $5 gift cards is just over 200 Swag Bucks, not 315. . .That's a $10 difference in gift cards.

I can understand charging a small bit more but $10 is an awful lot.

wow Lucky we need usa gift cards in $25 and $50

Kyle said...

nvm i see them

Anonymous said...

The price on the $25 card doesn't make any sense. It would be cheaper to buy 5-$5 cards. Why would you spend that extra 90 swagbucks?

Anonymous said...

I've wondered for some time now exactly why the higher leveled cards are more expensive per unit than the lower leveled ones?

$5 Amazon.com - 45 Swagbucks
$25 Amazon.com - 315 Swabucks

45 * 5 = 225. So shouldn't the $25 cards be more like 200 SwagBucks?

$5 Amazon Gift Card: 45sb
$25 Amazon Gift Card: 315sb (45 x 5 = 225sb ..wtf?)
$50 Amazon Gift Card: 590sb (45 x 10 = 450sb ...wtf?)

..as you can see its a rip off to get anything more than the $5 amazon gift cards.

this is a joke. you should be rewarded for saving, not punished.

I fail to understand how these gift cards make any sense?

A $5 gift card costs 45 SB....yet a $25 card costs 315 SB and a $50 card costs 590 SB?

The $25 card should be 225 SB or less, or else there is no point in having it. And the $50 card should be 450 SB or less. If I had 590 SB I could just get myself thirteen $5 cards which would be $65 on Amazon.ca. These aren't deals, they are over priced significantly. What is the point of releasing them if they aren't more of a deal than the $5?

Anonymous said...

That's great. But I still feel slighted--the $25 gift card costs 12.6 SB/$, the $50 gift card costs $11.8 SB/$ but the $5 gift card costs 9 SB/$... So I'll stick to the $5 card thanks.

Sweet :)

Good, for a Canadian, which I am!

THANKS!

you can get TWO extra $5 GC's for the same amount as the ONE $25 GC and THREE extra $5's for the cost of the $50 GC .. seems a bit odd to me. I will stick with redeeming $5 GC's.

Anonymous said...

you can buy the $5 card 5 times (which equals $25) for cheaper than buying the $25 card. And same with the $50. It would be better if you cut a deal TSG!

Anonymous said...

Good move. Amazon.com stopped shipping to canada. Im stuck with all these cards that i cant use.

Anonymous said...

It's cheaper to just buy ten 5$ gift cards than the 50$ gift card.

James said...

Is there a reason to get a $25 gc for 315 swagbucks when I can get 5 $5 for 225 swagbucks?

windsorbug said...

so when I tried to buy from Amazon.ca I got a message that said we can't ship to your address!??
I live in Nova Scotia CANADA. like .ca is Canada right?

Alleen said...

Any reason the higher denominations are more expensive? If anything, I would think there might be a slight discount for being patient and saving up your SBs.

Allen said...

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Anonymous said...

I'd still rather just buy five 5$ cards and save swagbucks
:|

Anonymous said...

Thats cool, now i gotta save up

MaronaPossessed said...

Hate to break your bubble Swag Guy...but 45 x 5 dollar amazon cards is 225 Swagbucks and 25 dollar amazon card is 315.

And to double that for the 50 dollar amazon card, it's 450 if you getting using the 5 dollars and for the 50 dollar amazon card is 590.

Anonymous said...

hrmmm did the math with this one and i can get 4 $5 amazon gc for less than 100 sb for the $25 amazon gc :/ ill stick to what i normally do lol

I buy almost all of my books on Amazon. : )

"But, if you're a Canadian Amazon Gift Card redeeming Swaggernaut, you may have felt a bit slighted by the lack of Amazon.ca Gift Cards.."

What about the UK Users then?
We dont even have £5 gift cards!

Anonymous said...

how about for people in the UK!?

Anonymous said...

how did i buy a 100$ amazon gift card for 1 sb?

chris said...

If you guys actually clicked on the Amazon $5 card in the store, you would see that it is only on special for 45 swagbucks right now...it is normally 100 swagbucks. So before you go off on swagbukcs and say it's a rip off, maybe you should do a little more research, and maybe show them some appreciation for putting the Amazon $5 cards at such a great deal right now.

Anonymous said...

I always do the math because I'm asian that's why.

LMAO @ almost every person in this thread making the same comment. Hey guys we gots it. How about reading previous comments, lol :P

Ya these cards are more expensive and yes it's better to get the $5 ones, but guys, we can only get 5 of the $5 ones, so for those who collect lots of sbs a month, we are now forced to order these.
