Earlier this morning I wrote about our new Special Offers page. It turns out that we've introduced another major feature in the last 24 hours: facebook connect!

What is facebook connect, you ask? Simply put, it's a giant bear hug between your Swag Bucks account, and your facebook account. But this isn't just an exercise in bizarre digital intimacy, no sir! Establishing the connection, could have huge implications for your referral list.

Here's why: once you connect your two accounts, all your major activity on Swag Bucks (searching and winning, finding swag codes, trading in cell phones, etc.) can result in automatic posts to your facebook News Feed. And not just any posts - these are attractive, informative morsels of Swaggy goodness. And best of all, each one contains your unique referral link!


Think of how many times you've tried telling your friends how cool Swag Bucks is (you better have been doing that! :) Now you can show them just how much you're being rewarded at Swagbucks.com, in a setting that encourages referrals.

To start, all you need to do is login to Swagbucks.com, or any Search&Win site. You'll see the following blue button on the right side of your top bar.

Select that button and enter your facebook login information in the resulting pop up window. Then visit your My Account page to set your facebook preferences. This is where you'll control all the actions that you would like to be facebook enabled.

One more benefit of facebook connect is that it's now super easy to see which of your facebook friends are already on Swagbucks.com, and invite the ones that aren't.
