Special Offers Are Here

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 15 hours, or you just haven't stopped by Swagbucks.com (is there really a difference?), you will have noticed that we have a new destination we're calling the Special Offers page. In case the highly creative page title isn't clear enough, this page contains all sorts of, wait for it, special offers and other limited-time promotions which you can use to pad that account of yours.

Once you land on the Special Offers page, you'll notice that there are two kinds of offers for you to explore. The first of those are the No Obligation offers that you'll notice on the right-hand side of the page.

These offers will be changing pretty regularly, and there's never any cost to sign up. We've taken steps to ensure that you will only ever see quality offers from trusted brands, so if you see something you like, go ahead and take the plunge. While you will not receive any Swag Bucks for participating in these offers, you should be aware that we'll be, ahem, hiding Swag Codes in this section of the page pretty regularly. In fact, there's one there right now. This is the same code that was put up yesterday in the evening for those of you that already snagged it.

Once the hubbub of the code dies down, I would encourage you to come back and check out the offers: many of them are pretty cool.

The other section of interest are the direct offers at the bottom of the page:

These offers will always have a button to the right which tells you exactly how many Swag Bucks you can earn for participating in the offer.

As many of you have noted, almost every one of these offers requires a Credit Card. There are a couple that don't but for right now those are either Credit Report offers or sign up forms for Credit Cards. If you're over 18, you can go ahead and sign up. Soon, we'll be adding more offers that are completely free and don't require a credit card. For now however, these will have to do.

Once again, we've done a lot of work to ensure that these offers come from good brands. You can find Swagertunities from folks like Netflix, Blockbuster, Stamps.com, etc. The best part about many of these offers is how quickly your Bucks will be awarded. Typically, you'll see your account totals credited within an hour! You'll even notice a new section in the My Account terminal which helps you track your Special Offers. Simply visit the My Swag Bucks page and look for the Special Offers link next to "Swag Codes" and "Redeemed".

Please only sign up for offers you qualify for, and care about. Be sure to also read carefully the Terms and Conditions of each offer. Users who sign up for, and then cancel their orders could come under scrutiny if we determine that the behavior looks suspicious.

The best way to think about these offers for now, is that if you're saving up for a special prize (perhaps something in time for the holidays) but you're short of the number of Bucks you need to snag the item, consider one of our Special Offers to help earn those extra Bucks.

I know that a lot of you still have a lot of questions about this new page, and we'll be here to answer as much as we possibly can. Remember, soon we'll be adding more and more ways for everybody to earn Swag Bucks. Your feedback will help us continue to make the Swag Bucks Network the most rewarding destination on the web!

I have one that took over my programing. I can't get it off my hard drive. TSG, can you have a stronger vetting process?!

not to fond of this new page, I like Swagbucks just the way it is! ;)

I actually do like this page! I have been doing special offers on different sites, but now that they are on swagbucks and can save up for prizes quicker by doing everything on one site!

If you don't like it, don't visit the page. DUH.

oh god...no
this is the one thing i hate about free stuff sites
please just leave swagbucks the way it is

I don't get it. I completely one of the offer by downloading a program and playing game, but how will you guys know that I did do this? (I did do it) but couldn't some people just say they completed the offer...?

i was able to get one swagbuck the first time. then afterwards, even though it says each day you have a chance to win, it tells me i've already used the code. one time deal?

Anonymous said...

This does not work at all and the offers have viruses

Anonymous said...

There is usually some connection between the two sites that somehow verifies you when you actually download it.

The code is the same as yesterday. It isn't a one time thing, there just will be codes on random days. So maybe in a few days a new code will be in special offers

Normally I HATE these "free offer" deals that you find on free sites, but some of these were actually good and sooooo simple.

I went from 771 swagbucks to 937 just by completing some of the free offers. Yes some of them will put a HOLD on your credit card but the hold is removed after a few days (and I only did it on 2 sites.....both of which I am very familiar with).

I recommend it. Just be careful. TSG can't be responsible for their other companies' content. So if something feels suspicious to you, don't do it!

I'd rather not have my details sold for Swag Bucks. Thanks for the offer though.

will this result in an increase in bucks needed for prizes?

Hi folks, we are going to try and remove the free game offers until we can investigate some of the reports we're receiving. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

I have learned from doing offers for extra points on Facebook apps and other freebie sites, that most of these don't credit. Even if done properly. So, I don't do them for anything anymore. Please put things back the way they were. There are tons of viruses in these offers, I've learned the hard way.

Can you choose which Search&Win site you get swag bucks for or is it just swagbucks.com swag bucks?

I have in the past signed up for some of these offers on other "free sites" for great deals! HA!

Hold on your credit card?? HOW ABOUT THEY START AUTOMATICALLY CHARGING YOU AN EXHORBITANT MONTHLY BECAUSE THERE IS SOME "EXTREMELY FINE PRINT" SOMEWHERE IN THE AD AND IT GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO AUTOMATICALLY RENEW THE CHARGE ON A MONTHLY BASIS. This creates a nightmare for credit card holders and even worse for debit cards holders. Debit cards are turned off by your bank when you turn in the illegitimate charge(s) and than you have to do a dispute and wait for a new card then go thru changing your card on all your shopping sites that you DO use on a monthly basis such as Netflix or your monthly charge will be denied and they will hound by email that your account is delinquent, please put in new card info.

Trust me, been there, done that! And yes, there is lots of fishing in these ads! Had $250 taken from one of my bank accounts and don't even know how they got my info except by phishing!!!

Now I have a 9.99 charge on Paypal (which is supposed to be so secure, except to phishers!) that is not my doing and something that is already listed on a "fraudulent sites report" site page ... waiting for the resolution but they have put the money back. Just 9.99 but my goodness, in this day and age, after you get one charge that is one charge too much! The 250.00 charge dang near wiped my bank account that I use to pay bills!!

So this new page ides isn't all too swift. Sorry, thought it would be nice and great and easy way to get Bucks, but can't go with it. Agree with too many posters on this blog!!!

Any one made a donation to United Way yet? It is great idea to encourage giving to charity and getting 75 SB for donating $30. I am afraid of virus though. So, I am waiting for some feedback and review... Thanks TSG for including donation as a special offer!!

'Limited Offer' has a 'sort by:' drop down menu, please include an alphabetized sorter, it is hard to go back to something you are interested as it is hard to re-find with only : popularity, low to high and high to low. End up having to click every page all over again. Will the alphabetized listing be coming soon?

Definitely just got a virus from the Duck Hunt offer. Didn't even get my swagbucks either.

I signed up with some things that I know are safe and want to know just how long it takes to get the SwagBucks for doing what I did. I saw nothing on the pages where I signed up for these things. They were emails, coupon and great deals site, etc. Nothing involving money or giving my cell phone or credit/debit card numbers.

Hey everyone! Be careful to read the fine print before subscribing to the special offers. The credit card offer for the next millenium card says you will get 150 swag bucks for giving your name, email, and accurate personal information. It doesn't mention until the bottom of the application a $99 processing fee and a $59 annual fee. And you will need good virus protection if you try downloading the games.

Now all you have to do is un-limit the 2 per day limit, so we can take your OWN advice and, once we find the gift card we're looking for "GO TO TOWN", TO QUOTE TSG. TELL ME, HOW DO YOU "GO TO TOWN" WHEN THE LIMIT REMAINS AT 2???????????????????????
