If you’re anything like TSG, you’re a fan of HBO’s original programming. Sure, I remember the good ol’ days when HBO mostly showed movies after this cheesy video package, but nowadays they’re known even more for their original programming – gritty, thought-provoking dramas seem to be their specialty. The Wire definitely fits that description – it was a incredible series that we have available in its entirety through a limited-entry Swagstakes.
The show is about the drug culture of urban Baltimore, and the acting, writing and camera come together to tell a story that’s gripping and engaging.
