Spammers. Ugh. You don’t like them, TSG doesn’t care for them, and it seems like every Facebook Fan page has a wall littered with their “droppings”.
What can you do when you encounter a spammer?
More than you think.
Let’s take this common TSG impostor who calls themselves TheSwag Guy and uses our logo in a sad attempt to trick people. Here’s what you’ll see when a code is active:

Flawless impression, I know, and yet somehow most people realize that this person is essentially a cheater who enjoys taking the fun out of Swagbucks for everybody else.
Up until recently, we were the only ones who could zap someone like this (who has multiple versions of the same account) from our Facebook wall. Now, you can do the same – here’s how:
1. Find the offender and click the “Flag” button below their update:
2. The update will disappear and be replaced with this:
3. Click “Report” and the following window pops up. Choose your reason (which will usually be “inappropriate content” or “advertisement/spam”:
4. Give yourself a pat on the back – you just made Facebook a more pleasant place for honest users.
Most users elect to “Block” unwanted users, but all that does is hide their updates from YOU. By flagging and reporting, you’re able to get rid of them for everyone.
I’ve already seen spammers wiped away before I’ve had the chance to do it myself. Keep it up guys!
Thanks,
TSG
