More Music With Julianna

Every year there are countless Christmas albums that drop but it never fails that, my favorite Christmas songs from growing up can never be replaced by the 2010 pop drops by the Indigo Girls with “Holly Happy Days,” sorry ladies. It’s true, the Indigo Girls are talented but their new holiday music, simply cannot compete with the deeply embedded memories attached to the longstanding season favorites.

My Longstanding Season Favorites Include:

Eartha Kitt – Santa Baby

(One year I participated in a Christmas dance performance at the local community theatre and this was the song my dance team chose to dance to, dressed as sequin penguins.)

Dean Martin – Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Oh yes, this one is in the Swagstore for only 199 SB too!

Bing Crosby – Mele Kalikimaka

(This always reminds me of making sandmen on Kailua Beach with my closest friends and family in ’99. Not because we were listening to this song on repeat for hours as we made the sandmen, but because it reminds me of the ohana (family) I still have back in the islands.)

As you pack, get ready, board your planes and finish putting all the decorations on the desserts this season, know the crew back here at Swagbucks is back here singing:

for you! Make the best of your travel, family and mp3 player this year; it’s gunna be a good one.

Does anyone have any holiday memories they always recall when they hear any of these songs for the first time during the holiday season?
