Game Time!

Games for everyone!

I’m sure many of you have noticed that everyone now has access to games! Finally, huh? I hope you’ve gotten some time to click around on the Games page, and start playing some of your favorites. If you haven’t noticed, just log out of Swagbucks and log back in and you’ll see Games in the Quick Links on the left and under “Ways To Earn”.
Please note that what we’ve launched is our Public Beta, so there will still be some bugs that need to be worked out. This is by no means a perfect product, and we know that – that’s why it’s a beta!

Being that this is the Public Beta, things can only get better from here! We are going to be modifying games continually: adding games, removing games, etc. We encourage you all to supply feedback on what you like, what you don’t like, what you would like to see in the future, etc. CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is always welcome.

There are two ways to be rewarded for playing Games:

1. Play games for free. That’s right: just playing games will randomly earn you Swag Bucks – anywhere from 1 to 5, and you can earn multiple times per day.
However, the BIG opportunities to earn will come from:
2. Buying into tournaments. Each game has multiple tournament options where you risk a small amount of Swag Bucks for the chance to earn a large amount.

Tournaments are always played at your own pace. You can enter them whenever you like! There are two different types of tournaments:

– Limited Player Tournaments where the number of total entrants is capped. As each new player enters, the number of available entries goes down by one. As soon as all the spaces are filled, the tournament closes; a winner is chosen; the tournament starts over.

In this model, you always know what the final payouts to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will be, and you can only enter one time per tournament.

– Limited Time Tournaments where the number of entrants is unlimited and the tournament purse can grow huge, meaning your earning potential goes up without your having to lay out any additional Swag Bucks. In this model you can enter the tournament as many times as you like.
TO SUM UP: If you just want to casually play, it costs you nothing, but you won’t win every time. If you enter tournaments, it will cost you a few Swag Bucks, but you have the chance to win a much larger amount than if you just play randomly.

We have created a sign-up code for NEW MEMBERS ONLY to help you guys get referrals. The code is worth 20SB – which will bring their total startup total to 50SB (after the 30SB you start with automatically). Encourage your friends to join so that they can compete against you in your favorite games! The sign-up code is “GameTime”.
Make sure you stay active on Swagbucks today, because there will be a sweet code released later that will be available to all current Swaggernauts!
For today only, we are going to be randomly hooking up 5 people on Twitter. Those 5 people must tweet “I just played (Game Name) on #swagbucks“. So go play your favorite games and send out your tweet, and you may be one of the lucky 5 to get 200 Swag Bucks!
I suggest that you all continue checking back for more exciting updates and opportunities!
So, now that everyone has access, what’s your favorite game so far?
