Twitter Tuesday Phrase That Pays: January 18, 2011

Posted by on Tue, January 18th, 2011 at 7:00 am

Hey Swaggernauts – Once again it’s time for the Twitter Tuesday Phrase That Pays (a.k.a. TTPTP), the contest where your creativity is rewarded with Swag Bucks (in addition to that warm, fuzzy feeling). Instead of all the bells and whistles, we’re going to keep it really simple.

If you want a chance to win the TTPTP, just do the following:
  • First, make sure you have a Twitter account, it’s free to create an account and sign up.
  • Second, make sure you follow Swag Bucks.
  • Third, create a message in 140 characters or less that has #TTPTP in it, along with whatever the TTPTP assignment is.
  • Fourth, enter that message into the “What’s Happening” box on the Home screen. Hit the “Tweet” button to broadcast your message to the world, and sit back and wait for TSG to (hopefully) award you for your wit and creativity.

If you want to include @Swagbucks in your tweet, you can, but you have the same chance of winning either way.

The TTPTP this week comes from a popular little diddy:

Creatively answer the intriguing question of “Why did Yankee Doodle name the feather in his hat Macaroni?”

Good Luck!

Posted by on Mon, January 17th, 2011 at 12:00 pm
When you think of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, the first musician to come to mind is likely not James Taylor, and yet on this day I think his song “Shed A Little Light” is somewhat appropriate, since it both begins and ends with a tribute to King and carries the message of brotherhood (and ...
