Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

by TSG on Mon, January 17th, 2011 at 10:00 am

Almost 48 years ago Dr. Martin Luther King led a peaceful demonstration in Washington D.C, and in time of great strife and upheaval in the United States he preached the values of love, unity and the abiding belief that we can work together to make tomorrow a better day. The “I Have A Dream” speech is taught in schools across the country, etched into sculptures and painted on murals. It stands as one of the most important speeches in U.S. history because its message rings so true. It seems only fitting that today, the 25th anniversary of Martin Luther King Day, would be marked by a call to service for all Americans to take action and better their communities. TSG and all of Team Swagbucks humbly ask that you take a moment out of your day to visit MLKDay.gov and learn how you can get involved.

Every day we work together, we’re bringing ourselves one step closer to making Dr. King’s Dream a reality:
