Who said Austin Powers would never inspire music?!?! Well, maybe I shouldn’t credit Mike Meyers with being the complete driving force behind Robyn’s “Fembot” release on her three part album “Body Talk.” Especially not since the song starts out with the lyrics “I’ve got some news for you, Fembots have feelings too, You split my heart in two, Now what you gunna do.” And we all know the mojo Austin Powers emits is not quite as fatal as the devotion that Robyn mention’s here, proving that the only influence his ‘fembots’ possibly had on this track was a title. Austin Powers aside, the mesh of electronic beats with a hint of hip-hop, simple drum machine production, swell use of love criminal lyrics along with a clear passion to dance make this song all around enjoyable.

So for all of you electronic music lovers in Swag Nation who have a heart in need of a little encouraging repair and a booty in need of a little shakin’, you can now find Robyn’s “Fembot” in the Swagstore for 199 SB.
