Roll with it…

An elder of mine once scoffed at the Grammy’s calling it, “Nothing more than another TV show.” I didn’t acknowledge his statement because I strongly disagreed. I remembered that small conversation of ours after I witnessed Adele’s music video for “Rolling in the Deep.”

Simply breathtaking, and the 2009 Grammy winner for Best New Artist of the Year. The Grammy’s voting process and awards have nominated some of the greatest acts in the world to be labeled, “Best New Artist,” including: The Beatles, Tom Jones, Sade, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, John Legend and more. 52 years of successfully cherry picking out some of the best talent in the world is more than a skill, it’s an art form. I am excited to see, out of nominees Justin Beiber, Drake, Florence and the Machine, Mumford & Sons and Esperanza Spalding, who takes home the title of 2011’s Best New Artist during the Grammy’s on Feb 13th (which you can watch at 8pm on CBS). If you were voting, who would get your vote?

Adele’s album “21” is set to be released on Feb 22, to preorder, click here. While you are anticipating the album you can download her single “Rolling in the Deep,” from the Swag Store for 199SB.
