Healthy and Happy


It’s very hard to find something that every single person agrees on. One thing, though, that proves to be important to everyone is wanting to be healthy. I found a great article with some essential tips for being healthy.

Move More
Whether its chasing your kids, climbing stairs instead of taking the elevator, or mowing the lawn, anything that forces you to move is not only great for fitness, but it’s also good for relieving stress.
Cut Fat
Avoid fatty products as much as possible. “Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts.”
Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking water is one of the healthiest things we can do, as it is essential for almost every function of the body. The average person typically needs eight 8-ounce glasses a day.
Reduce Stress
Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you love – watching your favorite TV show, playing music, reading a book, playing with your dog, etc. “Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible.”
Floss Your Teeth
Recent studies have proven a direct connection between teeth flossing and living long. Brush your teeth at least twice a day, and floss after every meal.
