Hey there!

As we think about going green, we should learn all the tricks of the trade for recycling and saving. I found this great article from Elle magazine revealing unexpected uses for beauty, fashion, and household items. I will definitely be trying some of these out.
Old Buttons
-Reuse your old buttons by using them to keep pairs of earrings together while you’re not wearing them.
Eyebrow Brush
-Can’t find a lint roller? Use an eyebrow brush to remove unwanted fuzz from your shirt.
Dryer Sheets
-No time for a shower? Rub a dryer sheet on your hair to tame fly-aways and make your hair smell shower fresh.
Cooking Spray
-Don’t have time to wait for your nail polish to dry? Spray them with unscented cooking spray!
Flat Iron
-Use a hair straightener to get out those wrinkles in between buttons on your shirt, or for small wrinkles when you’re in a hurry.
Antacid Tablets
-All out of toilet bowl cleaner? Place two antacid tabs in the toilet, wait 20 minutes, and scrub away!
Clear Tape
-Are your lips all chapped from this frigid winter? Stick some tape on your lips to get rid of the dry skin.
Vinegar
-Ouch! Got a bad bruise? Dab some vinegar on it to reduce the blueness.
