Week in Review – May 4, 2011
Happy Happy Saturday! Did everyone get to sleep in this morning?
Shall we review our past week here at Swagbucks?
Monday was Memorial Day, and we celebrated with a day-long Swag Code. I hope you all took the day to commemorate our heroes, visit memorial sites, spend time with family, and eat some good food!
On Tuesday we started BasketBrawl – the competition between the My Yammy Swag and Da Last Bucks. Earn points for your team by completing Tasks, Trusted Surveys, Special Offers, and/or Daily Deals. You have until the end of the NBA finals to rack in those points for your team. Who’s gonna win?
On Wednesday we announced the charity that we will be raising money for in the month of June. We have chosen to start the Help Our Heroes Fund where we will send a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project. The Wounded Warriors Project is a non-partisan organization that helps wounded warriors returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan and provides assistance to their families. WWP’s vision is to foster a successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors returning home from the war. Click here for more information.
On Thursday we informed you that all of our Cookie’s Kids prizes are now at least 25% off their original Swag Buck price! That means those cute slippers, cozy pajamas, trendy jeans, and snazzy top that you’ve been holding out for are now easily within reach. Click here to visit the Cookie’s Kids section of the Swag Store and start shopping!
Yesterday we launched our DADness competition – the search for the Ultimate Dad. We started the tournament off with our Animated Dads – Homer Simpson went up against Peter Griffin and Mr. Incredible went up against Finding Nemo’s, Marlin. Check back on Monday to find out which two dads are continuing on in the competition!
Now, before I send you on your way, I’ll leave you with a 7SB code. The code is the longest word written in this blog post – all lower case letters. You have until 5pm PDT. Good luck!
