Week in Review – October 22, 2011
Happy Happy Saturday! What’s everyone doing today? Spending the day with the family? Going to see a movie? Shopping? Well, let’s take a look at our past week at Swagbucks.
On Monday we announced the five finalists of the 2011 Swagbucks Pumpkin Carving Contest. All five of these pumpkins are so darn impressive, it was so hard for me to vote. Too hard, in fact, that I left all of the voting up to you guys, because I couldn’t pick which one I liked the best! Voting ended yesterday, and the winner will be announced on Monday! Congratulations to all of our finalists!
On Tuesday we reminded you all of the awesome sales and specials that are going on in the Halloween Swag section of the Swag Store. The prices have been slashed and every Halloween item qualifies as a SWAGO game piece! Pretty sweet! Click here to stock up for Halloween.
On Wednesday we released a predictive code where you guys voted for who you thought would win the first game of the 2011 World Series: The St. Louis Cardinals or the Texas Rangers. You voted by redeeming a code worth 8 Swag Bucks that represented the team you were choosing. If you Swaggernauts had collectively voted for the winning team, you would have been rewarded with a 12 Swag Buck code on Thursday. The St. Louis Cardinals took the win on night one, but unfortunately, you as a group had picked the Rangers.
On Thursday we featured one of our Swaggernauts in the blog. briidope submitted a review for the book she recommends, Charotte Figg Takes Over Paradiseby Joyce Magnin, which earned her a spotlight in the blog as well as 250 Swag Bucks! Read her review here and find out how you can earn 250 Swag Bucks, too!
Yesterday was the conclusion of our week long cryptogram. Each day this week we released at least one letter or clue of the cryptogram. The last clues were given out yesterday. If you managed to solve the cryptogram, you figured out that the 11-letter word was “Shakespeare.” You then had to search this word in the Swagstakes to land you on the Swagstakes for the Amazon.com Kindle e-Reader which held your code for 9 Swag Bucks. Did you solve the cryptogram?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
