Tonight at sundown begins the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.  Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is the holiday the commemorates the re-dedication of the holy Temple in Jerusalem, following the Jewish victory over the Syrian-Greeks in 165 B.C.E.  The Maccabees, those involved in retaking their land from the Greeks, were determined to purify their Temple by burning ritual oil for eight days.  However, to their dismay, there was only enough oil for one day.  It was a miracle, though, when the oil surprisingly lasted for eight full days.  This is why Hanukkah is celebrated for eight nights, lighting another candle on the menorah each night.

To get in the Hanukkah spirit, every day for the next eight days, one of our awesome Gift Cards from the Swag Store will have its price slashed for that day only – from midnight to midnight.  Let’s start it off with a Gift Card for something everyone can appreciate – PIZZA!  One of our newer cards, the Papa John’s $10 e-Gift Card, is now up for grabs for just 1,049 Swag Bucks (almost 200 Swag Bucks less than it’s original price of 1,229 Swag Bucks)!  Papa John’s uses only the finest ingredients, from fresh sliced vegetables to their fresh, never-frozen, hand tossed dough.  It’s quality that you can taste.  They believe that Better Ingredients make a Better Tasting Pizza.  Take advantage of this delicious deal until midnight tonight PST!

To those celebrating, Happy Hanukkah!
