Swagbucks Book Club – Teach An Old Book New Tricks
Welcome to the Swagbucks Book Club for Friday, February 17th.
We will be discussing our latest selection, Sarah’s Key by Tatiana De Rosnay on Friday, March 2nd. I’m loving this book and the author’s writing style. I’ll save the details for our discussion on the 2nd but the way she weaves the worlds of 1942 and 2002 together is captivating and coherent. (not always an easy task). There are plenty of plot twists where I ask myself, “What would I have done in that situation.” If you haven’t yet started the book it is a pretty quick read and don’t forget it is available in the Swag Store as a Kindle version, or put those Barnes & Noble or Amazon Gift Cards to good use. Or check your local library.
One of the side-effects of being a voracious reader can be a house full of books. While I prefer to loan out or donate a book after I’ve read it, I couldn’t resist this project when I saw it. In fact, I didn’t even know I needed a keepsake box before seeing this tutorial from Kendra of Key Lime Digital Designs via the How Does She blog.
