Swagbucks Book Club – Fahrenheit 451 Discussion

Before we jump into today’s discussion of Fahrenheit 451 I want to talk about June.  During the entire month of June the Swagbucks Book Club will celebrate the Swagbucks Authors by spotlighting books written by Swagbucks members.

Here’s what we have in store:

Next week, June 1st at 10am PT, the author of Are We Walking To Alaska, JoAnn Dunlap Bayne (known to Swaggernauts as donbayne2), will be joining us to discuss her autobiography!

June 8th will feature a discussion with children’s author Zi Kehimkar (Swag Name: warriorkona) and her books Tales of Pixie The Cat: Four Short Stories and Newfoundland Nights: The Invisible Newf and Other Stories.

June 15th is dedicated to The Broken Road by Amanda Johnston (jobhaer).

June 22nd we will be joined by Zada Leon (egyptgoddess) to discuss her work Vengeance Is Mine.

The June Book Club selection is Kickshaw Candies by RL Finnell, also known by Swag Name roxan.  We will be discussing this fantastic book on Friday June 29th.

All of these works have been made available in the Swag Store in Kindle versions, just click on the book title above.  They are also available at Amazon.com so you can put those Amazon Gift Cards to good use! PLUS, today’s Braggable Bargain is the $10 Barnes and Noble Gift Card which is on sale for just 1055SBs. This special price is available from now until 10am Monday, don’t miss out.

The New York Times wrote,”Frightening in its implications…Mr. Bradbury’s account of this insane world, which bears many alarming resemblances to our own, is fascinating.”  And with that, let’s get on with the May reading selection, Ray Bradbury’s internationally acclaimed masterwork Fahrenheit 451.  Remember that the discussion will continue through the weekend. On Tuesday (because of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday) I will award random contributors with 25 Swag Bucks which will count towards the Carnival “Test Your Strength” Goal that day.  Feel free to respond to questions I post in the Comments or add your own.
