By the activity from our Pinterest page, I can tell many of our Swaggernauts are interested in do-it-yourself projects, just like I am.  I recently found an article on instructables.com that shows you how to make do-it-yourself facial scrubs simply using everyday kitchen items.  I know that a lot of us don’t like to use over-the-counter products, as they often contain unnatural ingredients and chemicals.  Following these methods ensures that you know exactly what is going into your facial scrub, and therefore, exactly what you’re putting on your skin.

Coffee Ground Scrub: After making a pot of coffee, allow the used grounds to cool and apply them in a circular motion to your face.  This is an invigorating scrub that increases blood flow and can help wake you up.

Oatmeal and Honey Scrub: Add enough honey to the oatmeal to form a paste.  This is a mild mask that is great for people with sensitive skin.

Sugar and Olive Oil Scrub: Start with a bowl of sugar and add enough olive oil to make the sugar moist.  Table sugar is fine but raw sugar is better for a more exfoliating scrub.

That sounds easy!
