Exactly 29 years ago today, Billy Joel went to number 1 on the US Singles Chart with this song.  ”Tell Her About It” was a hit single from Joel’s album An Innocent Man.  This single was certified gold by the RIAA for sales in the US.  In the video, shown below, you see Billy Joel singing the song as if he was on The Ed Sullivan Show during the 1960s.  You’ll see different scenes of teenagers watching the show from home and crowding around appliance store windows to watch him and dance along.  Now, get your dancing shoes on and enjoy “Tell Her About It.”
