Two Days of worDrop , Two Chances to Win 200 Swag Bucks

Good Morning and Happy Weekend, Swaggernauts. It’s time for another two days of games and two shots at 200 Swag Bucks!  I know this is really going to disappoint some of you, but I’m afraid this Weekend Challenge might be a bit of an easy one… Maybe it’s because I’ve never lasted through more than the first 3 clues in a crossword puzzle…  Maybe it’s because it takes me about a year and a half to finish a hundred page book…  Maybe it’s because at no point does a word turn into a crazy monster I can shoot… I just am not great at word games.  I’m pretty good at Taboo if that counts. Anyway, mock me if you wish, but this Weekend’s Challenge is in worDrop and here is my score…

I’m sorry!!!

If you’ve never played worDrop before, I’m going to explain how I think you should play and how I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t. That way, you should definitely have enough information to beat my score.

Letters fall onto the screen, bunches at a time, and stack on top of each other until they reach the top of the screen or fall over the side barriers near the bottom. The object of the game is to to make as many words of the letters as you can, making each letter in the words disappear when you submit them. To make and submit a word, click on the letters that make up the word in order and click one of the letters in the word again to submit it. The letters do not have to be touching to be made into a word. Because the side barriers only hold letters from falling out of the stage near the bottom, it’s not a bad idea to try to eliminate letters near the sides sooner rather than later.

Lastly, if you’d like to do better than me, you probably shouldn’t think of a word that starts with a letter on the screen and try to spell it until you realize not all the letters are there. That’s pretty much my go-to move and while the effort is filled with style and moxie, I do not recommend it.  I’m more successful when I just look at it more like a word jumble and try to work with what’s immediately in front of me. I spell TREE a lot… Not sure that that’s a good thing… I do like trees though…

Speaking of trees, what better way to celebrate the start of Fall than with a game where letters fall? Okay, so we really didn’t have a great game for this season in particular, but still, it’s Fall, guys!

In order to be eligible for 200 Swag Bucks, first beat my score on worDrop. Then, take a screenshot and tweet it @Swagbucks with your Swag Name the hashtag #sbgames.  One winner will be chosen from each day of tweets and the winners will be announced on Twitter on Monday.  Good luck and Happy Fall!  If you have a suggestion for an upcoming Weekend Challenge, leave it in the comments!

Update: This weekend’s winners were dollarsavingirl and Revelation – Congratulations!
