Exactly 24 years ago today, UB40 reached number 1 on the the US singles chart with their version of the Neil Diamond song ‘Red Red Wine.’  One of my favorite songs to sing Karaoke to, the lyrics are sung from the perspective of someone who finds drinking red wine the only way to forget a lost love.  Here is UB40′s version of ‘Red Red Wine.’
