Poll Round-Up – Week of October 20, 2012

Hey Swaggernauts! I hope everyone had a happy Monday! Let’s check out the results from last week’s Daily Polls.

Well, it looks like almost 20% of you are really hoping for a tablet this year.  I wonder how many iPad Mini’s will be wrapped under Christmas Trees or next to Menorahs this year.  And although 13% of you are wishing for a new laptop and 11% of you are adding a smartphone to your wish list, nearly half of you selected “None of the Above.”  If you fall into this 44%, what is number one on your wish list this year?

Whenever I get a phone call from a telemarketer, I always here them out and politely inform them that I am not interested.  There is no point in getting angry with the caller, as that is simply their job.

It took me about 30 minutes to answer this next poll question, because as soon as I read “if money and time weren’t of concern” I went off into a daydream of everything I could do with unlimited money and unlimited time.  Once I journeyed back to reality, I responded that if time and money weren’t of concern, I would choose to eat dinner out at a fancy restaurant.  High-quality, delicious food with no clean-up required?  Yes, please!

It’s so nice to see that so many of our Swaggernauts have such a close relationship with their family members.  Growing up, I was always told that friends will come and go, boyfriends will come and go, but your family will always be there.  And to this day, they have.

I have to admit – I am definitely guilty of taking shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, pens, notepads, and if I’m lucky, the under-pillow mints from hotels.  Those items are there for my use anyway, so if I don’t use them during my stay, I’m takin’ ‘em with me!

Looks like most of you Swaggernauts agree with me on taste being the most important factor when deciding what to eat.  Regardless of whether it’s cheap or expensive, healthy or fattening, if it doesn’t taste good, I’m not eating it.

Every year for my birthday, since my 1st birthday, my parents would flood me with presents.  So why shouldn’t I do the same for them on their birthdays?  It’s the golden rule: Do unto others what others what have done to you.  Looks like most of our Swaggernauts feel the same way.
