Two Chances to Win 200 Swag Bucks, Many Chances to Win a Free Game
It’s time for another Game Challenge and another two shots at 200 Swag Bucks. Last we met, we were all entangled together, racing through the spirit world… unless you’re Kimmie8isgr8 who was playing from a secure network in her office so she had no spirit friends to race with. Whether you were buried in spirits or racing by your lonesome, I hope you enjoyed Wednesday’s Challenge and the new game.
After all that time in the spirit world, this weekend, we’re taking time to stop and smell the freshly cut grass, the breeze coming off the lakes, the arnold palmers and gopher droppings. That’s right, this weekend’s game challenge is on Fairway Solitaire!
If you’ve ever played Solitaire before, this game’s even easier to pick up and loads more fun. The goal of the game is to clear as many cards from the screen as possible. Do this by selecting cards that are either one value lower or higher than the card displayed at the bottom of the screen. If there are no cards that fit that description, draw another card from the pile beside it. The number of cards remaining once you’ve gone through the draw pile is your number of strokes on the hole. Just like real golf, each hole has a set par. If you’re not so familiar with golf or pars, you really just want to end up with as few cards remaining as possible, but I encourage you to run a Swag Search to learn a little something and try your hand at winning some Swag Bucks.
So what’s this weekend’s challenge? Beat or match my score of 7 UNDER PAR on any course. Take a screenshot of your challenge beating/meeting score and post a link to it here, in the blog and you could win 200 Swag Bucks. Tweet your screenshot @Swagbucks with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames and you could win 250. One winner will be selected at random from each day of entries and announced on Twitter and in this blog post on Monday. You may enter as many times as you like, but please only post each score on the blog and on Twitter once. In other words, you must complete the challenge with a new score for each entry though you may post the score in both places. Because the scores will look fairly similar this week, you might want to add your Swag Name to your screenshot before posting it.
Use any image hosting service you like so long as you can leave a link to it here. I recommend postimage.org if you’re looking for a place. Your posted link should look something like this: http://postimage.org/image/
If you enjoy Fairway Solitaire and have an iPhone or iPod Touch or know someone who does, we are excited to offer a free full copy of the game for iPhone or iPod Touch thanks to our friends at Big Fish Game. Just go here where you will enter your email and receive your code. This offer is while supplies last so don’t miss out.
I didn’t see a lot of suggestions for upcoming challenges last week so if you have a suggestion for an upcoming Weekend Game Challenge definitely leave it in the comments and it just might be the next challenge. As always, we love to see your feedback on the game, the challenge and anything else on your mind related to games.
As you complete this weekend’s challenge, come back and post what your highest streak was. Mine was 21, but I realized I could’ve kept going just after I drew another card… :/
Update: This weekend’s winners were ccline13 and Chiamaka – Congratulations!
