Big Scores, Bright Colors, & 100 Swag Bucks

Happy Wednesday, Swag Nation!

I hope you’re all ready for a fun new game and a fun new challenge. After a weekend of racing to work, ducking for your life, and trying to articulate what the white thing in Point of Isolation 2 looks like, we’re back to bright colors and big scores in this fun new physics/puzzle game, Match n’ Dig.

If you like Swaggle, you’ll probably really appreciate Match n’ Dig. The gameplay is similar in that you are looking to click groups of like colored blocks to earn points and clear the board, but there are some twists. There’s this little smiley guy at the top and he doesn’t like when blocks fall on him. If he gets hit, he loses health and if he loses all health, the game is over. The object of the game is to avoid the ever-lowering ceiling and dig as deep as you can without hurting the little smiley guy. This means, you’ll have to apply some strategy in digging through like-colored blocks; leave too high a stack and they’ll fall on the smiley. If you dig to depth 100, you win.

This game is deceptively challenging in a fun way. You’ll develop a strategy quickly and get better and better. One tip I found useful is that’s helpful if you can keep the smiley out of the middle as much as possible.

So what’s today’ challenge? Beat my score below!

In order to be eligible for 100 Swag Bucks, take a screenshot of your challenge beating score and post a link to it here in the comments. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend because it’s easy, but you’re welcome to use whatever you’re comfortable with. In order to be eligible for 200 Swag Bucks, tweet your screenshot @Swagbucks along with your
Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. Three winners will be selected at random and announced here in this blog post and on Twitter on Thursday.

So what do you think of Match n’ Dig? Did you find the challenge difficult or did you breeze through it? Anybody make it to depth 100?

Good luck, everyone!

UPDATE: This week’s winners were ashleywelborn, leryssa and MufasaHardcore – Congratulations!
