Swagbucks Book Club – The Gift of Words
Welcome to the Swagbucks Book Club. Thanks to everyone who participated to last week’s discussion of the November reading selection, Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice. Were you one of the lucky contributors to find an extra 25 Swag Bucks in their account on Monday?
For the December reading selection I thought we would try something different. December in the Swagbucks Book Club is “Read What You Want” month. Choose any book you want to read or even take the month off if you need to. This time of year can get very hectic and we could all use a break. Near the end of December we will open up the comments and you can share what you chose to read.
But today I want to discuss the idea of giving books as gifts. With Hanukkah beginning tomorrow evening and Christmas just over two weeks away it seems everyone is shopping for others.
Do you buy books as gifts for others and if so, do you give books that you have enjoyed or books that the recipient has requested?
Do you lean towards “coffee-table” books?
Do you buy e-books for people with Kindles or Nooks?
Do books make good gifts?
On Monday I will award 10 contributors with 25 Swag Bucks so don’t be shy.
See you next Friday!
