Swagbucks Book Club – And Then There Were None Discussion
Welcome to the weekly gathering of the Swagbucks Book Club. Since today is the last Friday of the month it is discussion day! Today we are discussing Agatha Christie’s best-selling mystery, And Then There Were None. Not only will you have the chance to win 25 Swag Bucks for participating in the discussion but I have an exciting opportunity to win copies of an Agatha Christie adventure online game from our friends at Big Fish Games. Details on both are below in this post.
Agatha Christie, known as the Queen of Crime, wrote her first book as the result of a challenge from her sister. In all she has 66 detective novels to her credit. And Then There Were None was originally published in 1939 and has since become the best selling mystery of all time. In the novel, ten people who had been implicated in the deaths of others but thus far escaped notice or punishment are tricked into coming to an island. Although they are the only people on the island, each guest is successively murdered in a manner paralleling the deaths as told in a nursery rhyme.
For today’s discussion I will post topics in the comments to which you can respond in the thread, but feel free to post your own questions. The discussion can last throughout the weekend if you want to comment at that time. On Monday, Jan 28th, I will choose 10 users who have contributed to the discussion and hook them up with 25 Swag Bucks.
This week we have a special opportunity for you to win a free download of the adventure game based on Agatha Christie’s novel Death on the Nile from our friends at Big Fish Games. In Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile, Hercule Poirot investigates a thrilling murder mystery and must find hidden clues, interrogate suspects, and much more. Uncover clues and evidence directly tied to the story. When you have enough evidence, question the passengers in the salon and discover the identity of the real murderer! This game is a $9.99 value and I have 10 copies to give away. If you want to be included in the random drawing on Monday just include #BigFishGames in your comment below.
