Two Days of Catch2, Two Shots at 200 Swag Bucks

Happy Weekend, Swag Nation!

It’s time for another fun game challenge and another two shots at 200 Swag Bucks. On Wednesday, we played the new and challenging game, Catch a Duck. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s a neat way to challenge yourself at your own pace and put your problem solving skills to work.

For this weekend’s challenge, we’re playing something a bit simpler:

In Catch2, all you have to do is move a bowl from side to side to collect as many balls falling from the top as possible. Do this by clicking and dragging the bowl left and right with your mouse. There’s just one catch… Each ball has a point value and while the point value of each ball you catch goes toward your score, each ball you miss takes away the point value from your time to play. The game is over when you no longer have any time allotted to catch balls.

So what’s this Weekend’s Game Challenge? Get a score of 836 or higher on Catch2 and post a link to a screenshot here in the comments. For each of these correctly filled out posts, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 200 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots of new challenge-meeting scores. One winner will be selected at random from each day of entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Monday. That means, if you enter on Saturday, you can come back Sunday to enter again and be part of a new raffle. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend The link you want is the URL.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks, along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

We’ve been having some technical difficulties with the blog lately so I wasn’t able to draw from your suggestions for this weekend’s challenge, but we’ll be back to your suggestions asap and you can always leave them in the comments. You guys have great ideas and it’s fun to see which games you enjoy most.

Speaking of comments, I have an odd question for you guys after reading what games you guys like to play. How do you play The Sims? Is there a goal? Can you win or lose? I often feel like I’ve played The Sims, but when I try to remember what it was like, I just remember spending too much money on electricity and unleashing a monster and then I remember that that was SimCity and I was never very good at it… I’ve played SimAnt quite a bit. Does that count?

I hope you all enjoy this Weekend’s Game Challenge. Good luck and have a great weekend!

Update: This weekend’s winners were sushildhakal and themullethunter – Congratulations!
