Balancing and Balls for 100 Swag Bucks

Happy Wednesday, Swag Nation!

I’m just gonna come right out and say this…  I’m sorry.  I’m sorry that for many of you today’s Game Challenge will be a frustrating one.  I’m also sorry, that according to the votes, we are playing your least favorite game today. That said, I want you to know that I think it’s for the best.

I believe that while Ball Rain is perhaps not our most exciting game, it has its merits and the more capable you are at playing well, the more you will appreciate them.

I can see from the comments that many of you struggle to get a single ball. Let’s end that today. If we accomplish nothing else, let’s get you scoring on Ball Rain. You hear me? Put aside all that work your boss asked you to do; give your kids a microwavable dinner for breakfast; tell the dog to walk itself; and let’s play some Ball Rain. You know what? Let’s make it interesting. If you get first, second or third in a Ball Rain tournament today, let me know in the comments and show a screenshot of that for your entry and I will double your winnings on one tournament.

How to Get a Ball in Ball Rain
Balance your racket! That’s it! That’s all you need to know!  The mistake most people make is focusing on the balls. Once you’re good at balancing the racket, sure, focus on the balls for maximum points, but it’s all about balancing the racket because once you lose balance, the game is over. Collect tennis balls and power-ups, avoid everything else, and you are good! If you’re still not sure how to play or want to visualize the process, watch this guy!

What’s today’s challenge? Get a score over 400 in Ball Rain and post a link to a screenshot of your Highest Score in the comments. How do you find that? Go to your My Games page. For each of these correctly filled out posts you make, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 100 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots showing different scores. You may wish to protect your efforts by adding your Swag Name to it in a paint program. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend tinypic.com because it’s quick and easy. Three winners will be selected at random from all of today’s entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Thursday.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks, along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

I really enjoyed seeing your entries for the Weekend Game Challenge. I hope those of you that participated had a good time too. The Weekend Game Challenge was suggested by a Swaggernaut. You can make a suggestion for an upcoming game challenge too by leaving your idea in the comments or along with your entry.

Good luck and Have fun!

Update: This week’s winners were js22, melr262, and Music1654 – Congratulations!
