How Swagbucks Has Helped – Xochi10

Here at Swagbucks, we make helping our members the top priority.  Whether it’s using Swagbucks to save money on groceries, pay your bills, get your holiday shopping done, or just kill your boredom, we are happy to assist you in any way we can.  We love hearing from our Swaggernauts as they express their gratitude to us, because it reinforces why we are here in the first place.  Here is a touching testimonial sent in by one of our Swaggernauts, Xochi10 of Georgia.

I was a Marine recently medically discharged from the Marine Corps, throughout my time I didn’t know that I broke my tail bone and it was effecting my back, thighs and hips. I received all the wrong treatment because supposedly they didn’t know what was wrong. They denied me x-rays and further treatment I needed. Not even my chain of command would help. As time went by I kept getting worse to the point where I had to have pills to help me sleep at night because of the pain. I was getting bombarded with questions on why am I not getting better from my high ups, something I couldn’t answer.
As time went by they finally realized the medical there sucked and wasn’t treating me. By that time it was too late I was already on a Board of Review to get looked at so they can discharge me. They had me running around everywhere getting different papers signed and it literally seemed impossible to complete the tasks. They couldn’t keep me anymore because it was too long I went without the proper treatment and I was badly hurt. I accepted to get out of the Marine Corps because I was tired of first getting the blame, then the blame being handed to my superiors, the medical for not doing the job. And being a Marine isn’t a easy life.
Finally they finished my paper work where I was scheduled to leave within 2 weeks, when I went to go get my flight ticket they changed it to another 2 weeks. Finally they sent me to California where they processed me out, now I am out completely and only with half the benefits from the military. All the money I saved up isn’t all gone but a good chunk is gone. I felt like a let down to my parents because I had to come home hurt. Thanks to Swagbucks I’ve been earning a few points here and there, enough to get them presents in appreciation for the support they showed me while I was gone and hurt.
I’m happy to say I’m recovering slowly but surely. As a former Marine it is said “Once A Marine Always A Marine” and the recovery is hard but nothing that can’t be accomplished.
