Flipping with Friends for 100 Swag Bucks

Happy Wednesday, Swag Nation!

It’s great to be back with another challenge and another chance to win big playing for free. Before we get into today’s challenge, let me first just say that if you went the Office Catapult route over the weekend, I applaud you. Literally clapped at my desk as I was looking over the entries. That was definitely a tougher challenge, but I really think that’s an addictively enjoyable game so hopefully those of you that tried it had fun.

Today, we’re playin’ Flip-Out!

If you’ve never played Flip-Out before, get ready because you’re gonna have to dust off the ol’ pre-frontal lobe. It’s great exercise for your brain and a lot of fun. If you grew up playing memory games, this will be really familiar. It’s just a bit more complicated. Flip over cards to make matches as quickly as possible. If a card is highlighted, you can earn bonus points for finding its match while the bonus opportunity is still active. As you progress, you will see that making matches isn’t always as easy as finding an identical image. Sometimes, you will be tested with matching objects of the same color, equipment from the same sport, etc. That’s when things get tricky, but I think it’s a nice surprise to see how well you do when tested in this way.

So what’s today’s challenge? Get a score of 9,000 or more in Flip-Out, take a screenshot, and post a link in the comments for this blog post. For each of these correctly filled out posts you make, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 100 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots showing different scores. You may wish to protect your efforts by adding your Swag Name to it in a paint program. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend tinypic.com because it’s quick and easy. Three winners will be selected at random from all of today’s entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Thursday.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks, along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

I really enjoyed reading the comments from those of you who shared in our discussion of movies over the weekend. To answer some questions and reply to a few of you all at once: yes, it’s really that rainy in Seattle; I’m definitely excited about Catching Fire because I don’t read enough; I’m not a big fan of The Avengers (I know…), but I love all that classic Tim Burton stuff and will celebrating it a bit next week. With that in mind, anyone have any cool Halloween movie, gaming or other themed entertainment plans for this month?

Don’t forget that every time you earn Swag Bucks from Games, you earn 3 points for your team in the Bats vs Cats Team Challenge! Make sure you’ve joined or you won’t benefit from the extra Swag Bucks your team wins. Be on the lookout for special tournaments!

Good luck and have fun!

Update: This week’s winners are msgbrown, patti4free, & scaryxkidx  -Congratulations!  New Challenge Saturday!
