How Swagbucks Works For Me – bmarty

Is it me, or is this week flying by?  It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time to meet another Swaggernaut!  Today we meet bmarty, from Eden Prairie, MN.  She started as a casual user of Swagbucks, but shortly came to love the site (naturally!).  Read how with her first child on the way, she’s saving as much as she can to buy the items her little boy will need!

Swagbucks has meant the world to me this past year. I’m a 28 year old stay at home wife. I originally started Swagbucks over 3 years ago and was just a casual swagger. I used the search tool and would sometimes do a survey here and there. I was happy when I finally hit 450SB so I could get my $5 Amazon Gift Card, but I wasn’t invested.

Last year, during the October/Halloween challenge, it was like a switch was flipped on. The challenge was to complete every daily goal for the month of October. I started hitting the goals every day and I haven’t missed a single one since. I have enjoyed doing surveys and searching, swag code extravaganzas and special offers. I never knew how much I could really make if I just took on the challenge of completing the goal everyday. Every morning, the first thing I do when I open my computer is to check what the daily goal is and I get cracking. I don’t feel like my day is complete unless I work on the goal. Some days I smash it and other days I barely make it, but I do.

I started to bank my Amazon Gift Cards and I’m so glad that I have been able to get anywhere from $25-50 in AGC each month for the past year. Back in April, my husband and I learned that we are expecting our first child just before Christmas. I have been saving all my gift cards with hopes of being able to buy things we need for the baby. I’m happy to say that I have enough saved to buy a crib and a dresser free and clear thanks to the help from Swagbucks. This is a load off of our finances that I’m able to provide these pieces of furniture for our little boy.

I hope to continue to earn my Swag Bucks once he’s here so I can work on buying birthday/Christmas gifts each year. Thank you so much Swagbucks. Earning Swag Bucks helps me contribute to my family’s income in my own little way.
