How Swagbucks Works For Me – elizabethhersom5

And so begins another week, Swaggernauts!  Hope your weekend was super!  Today we’d like you to meet, elizabethhersom5, from Sanford,  ME.  She found Swagbucks through a blogger on Facebook and has been hooked ever since.  And even when she had questions, she was able to get help from our Facebook community!

My story is a lot like a fairy tale… well not like the ones you would read to your kiddos at bedtime. I was desperate to find away to make my family keep their way of living after I was injured and not able to work at my normal job that I had for over four years. My husband had gotten laid off and start to work part time. There was barely any money at all coming in and with bills piling up and our son in kindergarten, we felt so stuck. I saw someone on Facebook post on their money saving blog about Swagbucks, and how much money they saved by using them.

I thought why not, if they can do it I can too. I felt lost sometimes trying to figure it out on my own, because I didn’t want to read about the ways to use the site, I thought I could do it on my own.  With help from people on the Swagbucks Facebook page I was able to slowly get the hang of it. I got a few gift cards a month, and now I can get between $45 and $60 a month in gift cards. I honestly have no idea where we would be right now if it wasn’t for your website.

My husband is back at work full time, my little man is in third grade, and they both know that without me getting ‘points’ as my son calls it, we wouldn’t be able to do the things we do. Like this year we were able to get him, Nike shoes (with less than $6 out of our pocket!), name brand clothing, (The Childrens place, Old Navy and JC Penneys) and cool school stuff and a backpack for all under $40 out of my pocket. Thank goodness for CVS gift cards and Amazon gift cards along with a ton of other ones that they carry or I don’t know what we would have done. I am so thankful that I found Swagbucks.

Here is one of my favorite pictures of my husband and son together at the beach, with the help of Swagbucks we went there and ate out with only pennies out of pocket spent. My son tells me we should do it again because it was so much fun.

Thanks again for all that you have done to create this amazing website where my family can have fun outings and have  great new things without breaking our little bank.

Thank you, elizabethhersom5, for sharing this great story with us!  We always love hearing about how helpful our Facebook community can be.  It’s a great reminder that Swaggernauts have a lot in common and are always looking out for their own!  That beach looks pretty nice – and I’m sure your son agrees!

If you would like to share your story of how Swagbucks Works for You, send it to contests@swagbucks.com. Please include a picture and your Swag Name so we can correctly award you with 500 Swag Bucks!  Come back each day to meet a new Swaggernaut.
