Happy Wednesday, Swag Nation!

Welcome back!  Over the weekend, you had a choice between two arcade games. Looks like beaandbunny05 and PikachuRox said pretty good goals for your guys to aim for. So many of you that didn’t make the higher scores got so close! I was really impressed!  Speaking of impressed, did you guys happen to see/hear esplin9466’s reading of the Weekend Game Challenge? So silky, so polished, so exciting! Sounds way better in his voice than in my head, let me tell ya. Nice music choice too. For today…

I hope you’re all ready to get a little jolly because it’s time for some Jolly Poker.

As you might have guessed from the name, Jolly Poker is… well… a jolly way to play poker.  You get 5 minutes to get the highest score possible by sliding each row of 5 cards so that the hand you are submitting is aligned in the golden center column from top to bottom. To submit a hand, click on “Go.” Keep going until time runs out. To collect your Swag Bucks for playing, submit your score. You do not need to be good at poker in order to win today’s challenge or earn swag Bucks playing. In fact, Jolly Poker is a neat way to learn the values of different hands. A good place to start as a beginner might be to simply focus on making pairs or sets of three, or even 4 of the same card. You can also score by creating hands of all the same suit, consecutive numbers, or both. If you’d like to know more about how to play, here’s a link to a helpful tutorial on poker.

So what’s today’s challenge? Get a score of 5000 or more in Jolly Poker, take a screenshot, and post a link in the comments for this blog post. For each of these correctly filled out posts you make, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 100 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots showing different scores. You may wish to protect your efforts by adding your Swag Name to it in a paint program. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend tinypic.com because it’s quick and easy. Three winners will be selected at random from all of today’s entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Thursday.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks, along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

When you go to play Jolly Poker today, there will be some special tournaments available to help you give it a shot without risking too many of your hard earned SB. If you get done with your entries for today’s challenge and feel up for some more gaming and more Swag Bucks, consider submitting a game challenge for a chance to win 100 Swag Bucks and be featured in the blog or entering The Big Funds for Black Friday Tournament where you can win 6,500 SB and entry into the 25,000 Swag Bucks Holiday Giveaway.

Good luck and have fun!

Update: This week’s winners are msgbrown, CookieSqueak, and cleverG  -Congratulations!  New Challenge Saturday!

If you weren’t one of our winners this week, consider submitting a game challenge of your own for another chance at 100 Swag Bucks! Submit for a variety of games and you’re pretty much guaranteed to be selected in time.
