How Swagbucks Works For Me – SAHM1110

Let’s face it – at times our lives can be incredibly stressful and difficult.  However, it’s how we deal with this adversity that makes us stronger.  Today, we meet SAHM1110 from Denville, NJ.  Read about how she’s starting over, putting her son first and using Swagbucks to make sure they can have some very special outings.

My Swag Name is SAHM1110 and I am from New Jersey. I started Swagbucks in June of 2011 but didn’t really start earning points until 2012 when I moved back into my parents house where I had internet to use. I moved into my own home in 2008 when I was just 20 years old and 8 months pregnant. I lost everything.

Putting a down payment and buying furniture for a house and paying bills while I stayed home for 18 months depleted my savings account. I ended up maxing out all of my credit cards and had to go back to work full time getting paid minimum wage just to make sure bills were paid on time. I also drove 2 hours every weekend to my old job just to have extra money to make sure my son had what he needed. In January of 2012 I decided to leave my husband and move back into my parents house with my son to start over.

I am still living paycheck to paycheck but am able to have some ‘extra’ money for fun outings with my son.  Swagbucks has helped with being able to provide birthday and Christmas presents for my son. Without Swagbucks, I would not be able to pay my bills and provide the type of life I want my son to have. I have just recently started being more active with it and so far this year I think I will actually have extra gift cards that I might actually be able to buy myself something. Something that I haven’t been able to do since I bought a new laptop 4 years ago.

My son is my life and I have Swagbucks to thank for being able to provide the smiles and laughter that I see on his 4 year old face when he opens his presents on his birthday and Christmas. So thank you Swagbucks for providing something that is actually easy to use and extremely helpful to those that need it. I have included a picture of my son on one of our outings to Hedden Park. Sometimes the best memories are the ones that are free.
