Happy Wednesday, Swag Nation!

So great to have you all here. If you weren’t able to make it for our Super Bowl Weekend Game Challenge, we played Catch 2 and the consensus seemed to be that the word “Cheers” is well…  cheery. Can’t argue with that. Cheers!

Today, you get a choice of challenge plus a big opportunity to make your entries worth a little more. First, let’s look at today’s games:

Fat Cooker – Take food onto your tray and serve it in groups of four or more to clear the board and score points. The larger the group, the more points and the better your chances of making it to the next level. Clearing food causes food to fall down around you. Collect healthy foods and exercise equipment like fruit and barbells to gain power-ups and collect points. Avoid junk food to keep your weight down. Challenge score: 21,000.

Deeper in the Ocean – Descend as far as you dare go, collecting treasure and keeping your oxygen supply up as you go. Avoid eels, sharks and obstacles to stay alive and keep moving. Challenge score: 900.

Logia – Letters are falling from the above. Score points and clear the board by dragging letters to form words of 5 letters or more. Form two words at once to gain a bonus. The larger the word, the more points added to your score. Challenge score: 1000.

Hook a Duck – A classic carnival game in video game form. Use your cursor to guide your hook and click like the wind to hook as many ducks as you can. Each duck hooked adds to your time remaining. Think that sounds easy? I’m making this the toughest challenge today. If you manage to beat or meet today’s challenge score of 3,400, include the word “DUCKINATOR” and that entry will be worth an extra 15 SB in the event that you are one of today’s winners.

So what’s today’s challenge? Get a score equal to or higher than any of those listed above, take a screenshot, and post a link in the comments for this blog post. For each of these correctly filled out posts you make, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 100 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots showing different scores. You may wish to protect your efforts by adding your Swag Name to it in a paint program. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend tinypic.com because it’s quick and easy. Three winners will be selected at random from all of today’s entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Thursday.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks, along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

Bonuses

Something a bit odd about myself is that I’ve been going to the opera a bit lately. Even listening as I write these challenges. Video games and opera make up a fair portion of my weekends lately. With that in mind, I’m curious to know what sort of art you’re passionate about. Include a favorite painting, play, movie, sculpture, poem, quote, song, photo, or anything you think qualifies as art and why you feel passionately about it and if you are one of today’s lucky winners you will win an additional 25 SB. You must post new pieces of art with each entry to qualify for the bonus. If it’s something you can post a link to, please do so we can all appreciate it.

Good luck and have fun!

Update: This week’s winners are sambucka, veggiemarjie, & invisible161  -Congratulations!  New Challenge Saturday!

Super cool to see all the forms of art you guys are into. You made it really tough to go to meetings yesterday. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and especially to those who shared something special to them.

Don’t forget: You can still earn yourself 100 swag Bucks by submitting a  game challenge of your own!
