How Swagbucks Works For Me – graneeJ

It’s the night before Swagbucks turns 6!  Exciting, huh?!?!  I always found it hard to sleep the night before my birthday – what about you?  Today, we’d like to introduce everyone to our next featured Swaggernaut – graneeJ, from Magnolia, MS.  Read about how she’s been using Swagbucks to make her granddaughter’s birthday special!

After caring for my mother with vascular dementia for 2 years, (I’m a boomer) and her passing in 2012, I got busy with my Swagbucks because I wanted to get a birthday present for my granddaughter. In June 2013 I was able to purchase a birthday gift for my 2 yr. old granddaughter.

I worked extra hard taking surveys, playing Majhonng, and doing other Swagbuck activities the rest of this year and was able to purchase Christmas gifts for my two grandsons and my granddaughter. Two years without an income and no prospects for a new job in today’s economy resulted in having to accept my retirement benefits early just to exist. Living below poverty level in Mississippi is difficult and I am making ends meet with a small part time minimun wage job that buys my groceries every two weeks and my Swagbucks.

The extras that a mother and grandmother would like to purchase were proving to be totally out of reach for me. Thanks to Swagbucks, I can be the grandmother I want to be for my 3 grandchildren who each live in different states by providing little gifts for those special occasions.

Thank you Swagbucks!
