Three Days of Choices, Three Chances to Win 200 Swag Bucks

Happy (3-Day) Weekend, Swag Nation!

Okay, so maybe not all of us have a three day weekend and for that, I truly apologize, but all of you get a 3-Day Game Challenge which means 3 chances to win big, playing games for free this weekend. With that in mind, this weekend, I’m going to give three games to choose from for Saturday and Sunday and if you join us on Monday, you are welcome to choose any game you like and enter with any score.

As with any Weekend Game Challenge, you may enter with a tournament entry on any game, any day. If you play tournaments and aren’t taking advantage of this, you should! A score in a tournament that wasn’t good enough to win that tournament could still win you 200 Swag Bucks or more! Why do I bring this up? Because it’s time to start practicing your gaming skills for the next big Team Challenge on our 6th Birthday, February 25th!

Don’t forget to RSVP so you can take advantage of all the fun bonus Swag Bucks afoot. If you’ve participated in a Team Challenge before, you know what a help you can be to your team, playing games and entering tournaments. Each time you win Swag Bucks playing games, whether they’re from Free Play or tournaments, you will add 3 points to your team’s total score and I am going to be setting up some special tournaments to help you along with just that. That’s all taking place on the 25th, but you can RSVP and start practicing today! For more info on this exciting event, read this blog post.

Now for this weekend’s choice of challenge:

Snow Day

Use the arrow keys to wade through the snow. Hold down your mouse button to power up throws and hit clouds with snow balls. For each cloud you hit successfully, you add to your total score and keep the snow falling to preserve the glory that is a good snow day. For this challenge, you will need a score equal to or greater than: 2,700.

Navigate around the perilous deep as quickly as you can, collecting all the starfish you can see. The more starfish you collect, the higher your score, but if you make contact with one of the many perils, you will lose quite a few. For this challenge, you will need a score equal to or greater than: 200.

Typo Run

I’m honestly not even sure what this game is about, but it’s a fun challenge. Use the arrow keys to guide [what is that? bubble gum? a Roomba with a tail?] around [someone’s kitchen floor?] as you attempt to spell out words by touching the letters scattered about (spilt alphabet soup?). This would be easy if it weren’t for a challenging time limit on each level and spiky baddies attacking from all angles (Clean your floors, people!). For this challenge, you will need a score equal to or greater than: 2,000.

So what’s this Weekend’s Game Challenge? Get a score equal to or greater than any of those you see listed above and post a link to a screenshot in the comments for this blog post. Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of a tournament entry from this weekend with any score on any game. For each of these correctly filled out posts, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 200 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots of different scores. One winner will be selected at random from each day of entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Tuesday. That means, if you enter on Saturday, you can come back Sunday and Monday to enter again and be part of new raffles. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend The link you want is the URL.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

If your entry includes a comment regarding how your Valentine’s Day went, a cool birthday memory, a story explaining Typo Run, or shows a score in a Gold, Silver, or Bronze tournament from this weekend (including Monday), and you are one of this weekend’s lucky winners, you will win an additional 50 Swag Bucks.

Good luck. Have fun. Have a Really (great) S’il Vous Plait Weekend!

Update: This weekend’s winners are jmorty732, DesertjRose, & moneymaker621! Congratulations! New Challenge Wednesday!

You all are extremely creative. Great origin stories for Typo. For those of you wondering, I’m not aware of any actual background story, but I bet yours are better even if there is one.

I really appreciate you guys remembering that you can make use of challenges to make suggestions and offer feedback. There is one new tournament up on several games as a result of your feedback. These will be available on a trial basis at least until the end of this month. Please keep in mind that some suggestions are far easier to fulfill than others. We might not always be able to offer something and some suggestions take a lot longer than others to be able to implement, but we take all feedback to heart and just because your suggestion is not put to work immediately does not mean it wasn’t a great idea, we don’t don’t agree, nor that it won’t come to be in the future. Keep ’em comin’.

Don’t forget: You can still earn yourself 100 swag Bucks by submitting a  game challenge of your own!
