Two Days of WC+ with DesertjRose, Two Shots at 200 Swag Bucks or More

Happy Weekend, Swag Nation!

I am so excited to tell you that we have a Swaggernaut suggested Challenge this weekend and I think you might recognize her as she has been quite the Game Challenge regular lately. Always fun to get to know one of you better. In just a sec, I’ll let DesertjRose tell you what we’re playing this weekend, but first I just have to say: You guys are really good at Swagasaurus Run.

Swag Name:  DesertjRose

Location:  Kentucky, the Blue Grass State

Length of SB Membership:  14 months, but became seriously addicted just 2 months ago.

Favorite Way to Earn:  Videos and Games

Challenge Game:  Word Chain Plus

Challenge Score:  60,00010,000

Challenge Tip:  Try to highlight all 4 green lights above the letters for bonuses, but if you can’t do it immediately, don’t hesitate.  Insead, just keep making new words as fast as possible to keep timer going.

Optional Something Fun About Me:  I love to garden and preserve my own food.  One day I ran out of catsup and decided to make my own.  I found a recipe and spent the morning picking tomatoes and preparing them.  After filling a huge pan to the brim with the ingredients, I cleaned and set out jars and equipment for canning all the healthy, tasty catsup I was creating.  After hours of cooking the mixture, waiting for it to be the perfect consistency, the catsup was finally done – all 1 tablespoon of it.  The full pot had boiled down to a little lump in the bottom of the pan.  I could barely see it.  I’m not sure what I did wrong.  My family agreed that the catsup tasted awesome, but were puzzled as to why they got only a dab on their plates.  Needless to say, catsup stayed on the grocery list from then on.

I don’t know about you guys, but reading that immediately made me wanna try some of that ketchup.  DesertjRose, you may be the only person I’ve ever come into contact with that calls it catsup. I’m giving you 10 extra Swag Bucks for keeping that word alive.

So what’s this Weekend’s Game Challenge? Get a score of 10,000 or higher in Word Chain Plus and post a link to a screenshot in the comments for this blog post. Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of a tournament entry from this weekend with any score on any game. For each of these correctly filled out posts, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 200 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots of different scores. One winner will be selected at random from each day of entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Monday. That means, if you enter on Saturday, you can come back Sunday to enter again and be part of a new raffle. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend The link you want is the URL.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

DesertjRose’s actual challenge score was 60,000 points. I know some of you might be new to this game or not so into word games so you only have to get 10,000, but… If your entry shows a score of 60,000 or higher and you are one of this weekend’s lucky winners, you will win an additional 25 Swag Bucks. Likewise, if your entry includes a comment regarding how you feel about the Oscars or the movies or stars that are nominated and you are one of this weekend’s winners, you will receive an additional 15 Swag Bucks. That’s a total of 340 Swag Bucks you can win this weekend.

You can host an upcoming challenge just DesertjRose and earn yourself 100 Swag Bucks in the process by filling out the same information she did above and emailing it to You will receive your Swag Bucks when your challenge is selected.

Good luck. Have fun. Have a glamorous weekend!

Congratulations to this weekend’s winners: WisdomSeeker13 and Kamanjah!  (apologies for the later-than-usual announcement as Justin is under the weather) – Becky
