During the early ’90s hip hop went through decidedly melodic phase dubbed “alternative hip hop, with the likes of De La Soul, 3rd Bass and today’s Music Monday selection by the Canadian duo – Dream Warriors.  Alternative hip hop fuses traditional hip hop elements with reggae, funk, soul and jazz.
