How Swagbucks Works For Me – JanisRossignol

It’s the last Friday of June, but that just means warmer temps and July 4th is around the corner! Today we meet¬†JanisRossignol, from Keswick Ridge, NB Canada. ¬†Read how she’s using her SB toward a great cause!

About a year ago, I started using Swagbucks for my searches – mostly because it only made sense to earn money doing something I was already doing for free! However, recently I became a stay-at-home mom, and like others out there in my position, money became tight. From there, my mission became not only to save money, but to cut expenses.

Since 2007, we have been sponsoring a child in Kenya – she’s like one of our family now. My kids are growing up reading her letters, and seeing her photo on the front of our refrigerator. However, sponsorship comes at a price – but there was never a question of discontinuing our support of Reginah. My mission is now how to raise money for her support, and Swagbucks is my answer. Along with doing the daily tasks, using Swagbucks as my search engine, and completing some of the special offers, I also try to play a few games when I have spare time in the evenings, and also to do any of my necessary online shopping (school shoes/clothes, etc) through Swagbucks for the reward option.

It’s working out well, and I hope to be able to pay for at least part of our sponsorship fee each month with my Swagbucks earnings!

Sponsoring a child is rewarding in itself, and being able to use Swagbucks to help one of our “children” in such an important way is a BONUS!!

This is so great to read! Thank you so much for sharing, JanisRossignol!

We would love to share your story in an upcoming post (and give you 500 SB!) Please send it to contests@swagbucks.com (include your Swag Name and a photo!). If your story is published you will be awarded 500 Swag Bucks!
