How Swagbucks Works For Me – amylsleno
Today is our last testimonial for the month of July. Can’t believe August starts on Friday! Say hi to amylsleno, from Chicago, IL. See how she has been making Swagbucks Work For Her!
Swagbucks has been a lifesaver for us this year.
I am American, and my husband is English. We try to get to England at least once a year to visit his family, but now that we have a baby, it is harder than ever to save for our yearly trip. When we purchased our flights for this summer back in February, I sobbed – not because I was excited to see dear family and friends that we hadn’t seen in nearly two years (we had skipped our 2013 trip due to my pregnancy), or because I was thrilled to finally introduce our daughter to her cousins – but because I was worried our next rent check would bounce if they cashed it before payday.
About that time, I started using Swagbucks seriously. I work full-time, and my husband is a full-time student (finally in his last year!!), so our money is tight and our time is precious. It was great to find a rewards program that didn’t rely on us having to spend money to get rewards, and many of the things we can do in the background of our normal lives, like running encrave on the laptop while we have family time. It has been such a blessing to create some extra income via gift cards to pay for our everyday needs, so we could pay off our flights for this summer as well as start to save for next year! If we continue doing Swagbucks as we have been recently, we might even be able to cover the entire cost of our flights!
Thank you, Swagbucks, for taking away the stress I was feeling about our trip, and allowing it to be the joyous reunion it was meant to be. Thanks for helping our daughter meet her cousins, and see a bit of Daddy’s homeland as well!
That’s such a great picture – and thank you for sharing your story with us!
