Good People Stories: Emma

Today’s Swagbucks Good People Story comes from across the pond. Emma (Swag Name: wildchild554) is the single mother of 2 very young and cute boys. It’s not easy for her to cover rent, water, council tax, gas, electricity, phone, food and clothes.  Emma wrote in to tell us about how Swagbucks has helped her replace an extremely uncomfortable bed, buy shoes for her sons, keep her printer well stocked with ink and even replace it when, after 10 long years of faithful service, it finally printed its last page. Here is what Emma has to say about her Swagbucks experience. Swagbucks is the first site that really got her into online rewards. Before she joined Swagbucks, she joined other sites but very quickly decided they didn’t really work. So she and gave them up. As Emma puts it

After I received my first Amazon voucher from Swagbucks, which I was sure I wouldn’t get, I realized that Swagbucks did in fact work. I was wish I had found Swagbucks years before, when things were even harder.

There are a lot of people in this world who are struggling. Yet most of them just put a smile of their face and get on with making the best out of a difficult situation. They never ask for help. Emma knows exactly how that feels. That is why she makes a concerted effort to share Swagbucks with any one she meets. And of course, when Emma refers the people she meets to Swagbucks, she benefits as well. First by earning 10% of whatever her referrals make. But more importantly, it just feels really good to help people. Especially when it is in a way that shows them how they can help trhemselves. To paraphrase a famous saying:

When you give someone a free gift card, you make them happy for a day. When you teach a person how they can get a steady stream of free gift cards everyday, you make them happy for life. And you you as well.

Thank you Emma, for helping Swagbucks improve not only your life, but the lives of the people around you.

What could you do (or did you do) with a little extra?
