Let’s start with a “REFRESHment” on explaining what are Swagstakes? Swagstakes are the Swagbucks version of Sweepstakes. Instead of redeeming Swag Bucks for a prize, you can snag an entry, or multiple entries, to win a prize. There are two types of Swagstakes. Limited Entry & Limited Time. Some of you may wonder, what is the difference  between the two? It’s really simple to explain. Limited Entry Swagstakes are pre-determined amount of total entries, that will be excepted before a winner is randomly selected. Limited Time Swagstakes have no cap on total amount of entries, and a winner will be randomly chosen after a pre-determined amount of time. SCORE!!

I’m passing out two “Swag-petizers” that are very important before snagging an entry.

2. Swagstake entries will not be refunded for any reason

You can find the results of each Swagstake in the Swagstake section of your account page. Here will be a list of Swagstakes you’ve entered and it’s status. Once the Swagstake has ended, the winner will be announced in the status field. If you’re the lucky winner, the status field will display”WON”. Also be sure to verify your win before we can process it! Unverified wins will be canceled after 7 business days. Just like at the carnival if you exercise all your Swag Bucks earning muscles and ring that bell you will win a bonus prize!  In this case, it is bonus Swag Bucks.  If you reach the daily goal you will earn an extra 10% at the end of the promotion.  For example, Tuesday’s daily goal is 70 Swag Bucks.  If you earn at least 70 within the 24 hours from midnight to midnight Pacific Time, you will earn an extra 7 Swag Bucks on June 4th.  Swag Bucks earned during that 24 hour period will count towards reaching the goal – Search, Games, Surveys, SBTV, Special Offers, Swag Codes, Coupons, Daily Poll, NOSO, Tasks, Comment Hookups and more.

But that’s not all!  If you reach the goal all 17 days of the Carnival you will get 200 additional Super Bonus Swag Bucks! If you miss a day, don’t you fret!  Achieve the daily earning goal at least 14 of the 17 days and be rewarded with 100 additional Super Bonus Swag Bucks.  Reach the daily earning goal at least 11 of the 17 days and be rewarded with 50 additional Super Bonus Swag Bucks.

Check your homepage every day to see what the earning goal is for that 24 hour period.

This time, he’s adapting Dark Shadows, the classic horror soap opera from the early 70s, this time starring Johnny Depp as vampire Barnabas Collin – enjoy!

Today I wanted to share with you a t-shirt I picked up a few months back.  While I can totally get behind the simple sentiment I especially love the hidden literary references amongst the pictures.  For example, can you find “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”?  What about “The Cat In The Hat”?  Take a look and see how many references you can find.  I’ve included a version with grid lines if you want to help point out to others where you found something.
