Hello Swaggernauts!

Jon here from the Swagbucks Frontline Support Team with this week’s Happy Hour REFRESHments and challenge. Today’s Topic on Tap is a juicy one, the reason most of us are here… PRIZES! I will be going over some common policies and details regarding our prize claiming process for all you great users out there. If you don’t already know, we have an amazing Swag Store that carries thousands of amazing prizes and gift cards that can be claimed with your earned Swag Bucks. You can find the store by placing your mouse over the “Redeem” tab at the top of your screen and selecting the “Swag Store” tab from the drop down menu that appears.

You will notice that we carry two types of prizes in our store, electronic and physical. Physical prizes are those that we actually ship to you via USPS (apparel, jewelry, posters, trading cards, ect.). The electronic gifts are e-gift cards, MP3 files, and movies. These are sent electronically, either to your Swagbucks account or to your email address that is registered to your account. Please note that we do have a prize limit of up to 2 orders per day on all prizes. Each prize has a 5 order, per calendar month, limit per user. This means you can only order 5 of the same prizes per month.

Here are some “Swag-petizers” in regards to prizes;

  • All prizes must be verified before they can be received (more info on this shortly!).
  • Once your prize has been verified, it may take up to 14 business days to be processed and sent out. (Please note that business days do not count weekends or holidays!)
  • Physical prizes, once verified, will take an additional 10-14 business days for USPS to deliver. Iif you are outside of the US, please allow up to 30 days for delivery. This time is additional to the 14 day verification period.
    • Please note that all shipping costs are totally free!
  • Electronic gift cards and wallpapers will be sent to your “My Gift Cards” section of your Swagbucks account, 10-14 business days after it has been verified.

Like I mentioned before, you cannot receive any prize until it has been verified. Once you have selected your prize, you may be asked to verify your prize via mobile phone. If this is the case, enter your mobile phone number and you will receive a code, via text message, that will verify your prize. If you do not have a mobile phone further instructions will be provided for you.

Most users will be provided with a verification option – to verify via email, or via security answer:

You can choose either option to verify, just be sure that you know your security answer. If you choose email and you have not received any emails from us, be sure that you check your spam folders as well as add “info@swagbucks.com” as an approved sender in your email settings.

This week we featured an extremely talented band called Purdue Avenue on our Music Monday post in our Blog.
