Week in Review – October 29, 2011

Posted by on Sat, October 29th, 2011 at 2:00 pm

Welcome to another edition of Week in Review!  Let’s jump right in!

Monday was an exciting and fun-filled day.  We kicked off the Swagbucks Fall Classic where you got to join a team, the American Swag or the National Bucks, and earn points for your team to lead them to the victory.  You can earn points by completing Tasks, Searching, taking Surveys, and completing Special Offers.  This team challenge will end on Wednesday, so make sure you rack in as many bucks as possible over the next few days!  We also released the Halloween Collector’s Bills on Monday – the spookiest bills of all!  If you collect all 5 bills by Monday at 11:59pm PDT you’ll be hooked up with a spooky 13 Swag Buck bonus! Have you found them all, yet?

On Tuesday we announced the upcoming changes that will be coming to Facebook on Tuesday.  After October 31st, Facebook will be discontinuing the Discussions feature, which will affect our Daily Discussion.  So, instead of holding these in the Discussions section, we will simply post them on the Facebook page.  Feel free to join the discussion by replying to our initial post.  Also, since the outlet for solicitations for charity or votes is being taken away, until another solution is found those solicitations will continue to be barred from our Wall.

We put a fun, Halloween-themed spin on this month’s Look for Less.  I had you guys vote on what do-it-yourself Halloween costume you’d like to see put together in the Look for Less.  You chose the Candyland costume, so I wrote a post featuring how you can complete a Candyland costume for under $20!  See the look here.  What are you dressing up as on Monday?

On Thursday we introduced some really exciting news for SBTV!  Now, instead of the 75 Swag Buck daily limit, you have a chance to earn DOUBLE!  From now until the end of the year, the new daily limit is 150 Swag Bucks!  If you play your cards right, you’ll earn almost 10,000 Swag Bucks by the end of the year!  You’ll be looking at a very Merry Christmas this year just by earning bucks from SBTV.

Yesterday we discussed the upcoming week and prepared you for all of the fun and excitement that is to come!  We’ll be starting the week off with a Trick-or-Treat fest right here on our site!  Make sure you check the blog Monday at 7am PDT for more details on how you can earn almost 20 Swag Bucks!  And make sure you hang out with us all week, because we have a lot of fun and earning opportunities in store for you.  We even have a Swag Code Extravaganza coming up on Thursday where you’ll be able to earn up to 60 Swag Bucks in codes alone!

So have a good weekend, rest up, and come back bright and early on Monday when the fun will begin!
