And the Merry Cinemas winner is…

Posted by on Thu, December 22nd, 2011 at 11:00 am

The time has come to crown the winner of our Merry Cinemas tournament.  Over the past week we watched as elves battled with Santa Claus, as Gremlins fought with nightmares, as miracles were outvoted by wonderful lives.  As we all know, in the end there can only be one winner.  Yesterday in our final round of the tournament, A Christmas Story and Home Alone battled it out for that top spot.  The votes have been tallied, and boy was it close!  The winning film won by a mere 1,000 votes!  So who is crowned the best holiday film of all time?  Drum roll please…

Congratulations to Home Alone for winning this hard-earned title!  Thanks to everyone for participating in Merry Cinemas – I hope you had fun!
