Reel In The Gold

Posted by on Wed, September 5th, 2012 at 9:00 am

Wednesday Game Challenge time, Swaggernauts. Who’s ready for a shot at 100 Swag Bucks?

Today, we’re goin’ Gold Fishing!

If you participated in last week’s Wednesday Game Challenge, you will find that Gold Fishing almost works the exact opposite way as Tower Builder.  In Gold Fishing, you stand above the mines below with an anchor swinging back and forth, your only tool to reel in as much gold as you can. Click to drop the anchor when aimed at a nice hunk of gold, but be careful. There’s a time limit and larger stones take longer to reel up to the surface. Also in your way are hunks of aluminum. Sure, they’ll net you some money toward your score, but not much by comparison to gold and you have to clear all the gold to make it to the next level.

Think you can beat this score?

If you can, tweet a screenshot of your challenge-beating score @Swagbucks with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames by 11:59PM PT tonight. Three of you will be selected at random to win 100 Swag Bucks. Winners will be announced on Twitter on Thursday.

Update: Congratulations to this week’s winners of 100 Swag Bucks each for beating our score: utvolsfan22, Gerfen, and RocketDog75

Whether you manage to beat the score or not, post your thoughts on the game and let us know what level you got to.  I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen 5, but I know the Swag Nation is home to some killer gamers. Good luck!
