If you played Twitter Trivia yesterday you might remember a question about Tom Hanks and the director, formerly Laverne of Laverne & Shirley, that directed him in two films. Most of you knew that was Penny Marshall and most of you knew the two films were Big & A League of Their Own.
Well if you remember Buck Swagson from Music Month back in April, you know he’s a member of Team Swagbucks. We had quite the debate about Tom Hanks‘ best movies. Now, he’s got a lot to choose from; Forrest Gump obviously comes to mind, Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail for the RomCom lovers (I’m looking at you TSGal), even his early days with Bachelor Party and The Money Pit.
Personally, I LOVE A League of Their Own, I think it might be his most quotable movie, yes, even above Forrest Gump. Buck and I disagreed completely, respectfully of course, but like I said…completely.

That said, what are your favorite Tom Hanks films? Personally, I love every movie I’ve already mentioned plus Saving Private Ryan, Ladykillers (one of the few, I know), Road to Perdition, and Splash to name a few.
